Karina, Louis Partridge, and Maya Hawke Collaborate with Prada on New Holiday Campaign

10/15/24 5:48PM

Prada has unveiled its latest holiday campaign, featuring a star-studded lineup of familiar faces, including K-pop star Karina (of Aespa), British actor Louis Partridge, and American actress Maya Hawke. Joining them is actor Kelvin Harrison Jr., with all of the talents photographed by renowned photographer Willy Vanderperre. The campaign showcases a unique and festive concept, with Prada’s signature “Trick” robots adding a playful twist to the glamorous dinner-party setting.

A Fusion of Fashion and Familiar Faces: While all the featured talents have long-standing affiliations with Prada—attending shows and individually fronting campaigns in the past—this marks the first time they are brought together for a collective Prada campaign. Set against a vibrant red backdrop, the campaign embodies the elegance and creativity that Prada is known for, blending high fashion with a hint of whimsy through the addition of the life-size robots, which are usually seen as keychains or bag charms.

Karina, Louis Partridge, and Maya Hawke: Longstanding Prada Ambassadors
Karina, the lead member of K-pop girl group Aespa, was named a Prada ambassador in August 2023, strengthening the brand’s connection with South Korea’s booming entertainment industry. She joins a prestigious list of South Korean celebrities affiliated with Prada, including Enhypen, Jaehyun from NCT, and actor Kim Tae-ri. Karina has quickly become a prominent face for the brand, representing Prada’s growing influence in the global K-pop scene.

Louis Partridge, who gained fame for his roles in Enola Holmes and Medici, is no stranger to Prada. The British actor appeared in the brand’s spring 2023 campaign and has frequently worn Prada on red carpets, including most recently at the Venice Film Festival for the premiere of his latest project, Disclaimer, directed by Alfonso Cuarón.

Maya Hawke, celebrated for her roles in Stranger Things and Do Revenge, has also been a regular collaborator with Prada, attending numerous events and embodying the brand’s timeless elegance and youthfulness. Her presence in this holiday campaign further cements her relationship with the Italian fashion house.

A Unique Campaign Concept:
The playful addition of Prada’s “Trick” robots as life-size dinner guests adds an element of surprise and fun to the campaign, complementing the festive mood. The red studio backdrop, along with the glamorous looks worn by the stars, creates a striking visual impact, making this campaign one of Prada’s most memorable holiday showcases to date.

This collaboration between Prada and its global ambassadors emphasizes the brand’s continued effort to merge fashion with art, culture, and entertainment, as it embraces both established and emerging talents in its campaigns. Fans of Karina, Louis Partridge, Maya Hawke, and Kelvin Harrison Jr. can look forward to seeing more of their stylish collaborations with Prada in the future.
