Anderson .Paak is back behind the boards—and the brand. For the second year in a row, he returns as Music Distiller for Jameson Irish Whiskey’s Distilled Sound, a global music initiative curated through his creative collective, APESHIT INC.
Now in its sophomore run, Distilled Sound continues its mission of cross-cultural collaboration, bringing together 20 emerging artists from around the world to co-write, record, and perform original tracks. The 2024 lineup is genre-spanning and globally wired: South African soul artist Lloyiso, Portuguese experimentalist EU.CLIDES, Nigerian-American R&B vocalist Manny Wellz, Malaysian alt-pop voice Saint Kylo, and Irish drill newcomer Skinner are just a few of the names pushing the platform beyond traditional genre or border lines.
As creative lead, .Paak functions not just as curator but as cultural translator—connecting regions and styles while reinforcing Jameson’s broader brand pivot toward music credibility and global storytelling.
For .Paak, it’s another extension of his multi-hyphenate brand: Grammy-winning artist, label founder, sneaker collaborator (Vans), and now—strategic brand partner with creative control. In a landscape full of artist-brand alignments, this one goes deeper than sponsorship. It’s .Paak as showrunner.
