Jamaican singer and songwriter Shenseea has been appointed as the global ambassador for The Mane Choice, a renowned hair care brand. In her new role, Shenseea will collaborate with the brand to promote hair health and beauty, reflecting her personal journey and commitment to self-expression.
Shenseea, born Chinsea Linda Lee on October 1, 1996, in Jamaica, has rapidly ascended in the music industry with her distinctive blend of dancehall and reggae influences. She first gained widespread attention with her 2016 hit single “Loodi,” featuring Vybz Kartel. Her debut studio album, “Alpha,” released in 2022, peaked at number two on the Top Reggae Albums chart and number three on the Heatseekers charts.
Throughout her career, Shenseea has received several accolades, including winning Best Reggae Act at the 2021 MOBO Awards. She was also nominated for the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding International Song in 2023 for “Diana,” a collaboration with Fireboy DML and Chris Brown.
On January 31, 2025, Shenseea unveiled her highly anticipated single, “Puni Police,” produced by the renowned Di Genius. This track marks another collaboration between the two, following their previous work on “Hit and Run” from her acclaimed album “Never Gets Late Here.”
Shenseea has an exciting lineup of performances scheduled for 2025. In July, she will embark on a tour across Japan, with stops at Okinawa Arena in Okinawa City on July 18, Ookini Arena Maishima in Osaka City on July 22, and Musashino Forest Sport Plaza in Chofu City on July 25.
These shows mark an important step in expanding her international fanbase and showcasing her dynamic stage presence. Shenseea is also set to perform at the renowned Summerjam Festival in Cologne, Germany, where she will share the stage with reggae and dancehall legends like Beenie Man, Alborosie, and Inner Circle.
