Singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd has signed with The Core Entertainment for management, where he will be represented by co-founders Chief Zaruk and Simon Tikhman. He continues to be represented by WME for booking.
Upcoming Album Release: Hurd is preparing to release his sophomore album, Midwest Rock & Roll, on March 21 via Big Machine Records. The album features his new single, “Die For It,” co-written with Mark Holman and Randy Montana, as well as previously released songs “Go To Bed Sober” featuring Sasha Alex Sloan and “This Party Sucks.” The project is expected to showcase his signature blend of country storytelling with rock influences.
Background and Career Highlights: Hurd, originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan, began his career as a songwriter, co-writing hits for artists such as Diplo (“Heartless”), Luke Bryan (“Waves”), Lady A (“What If I Never Get Over You”), and Jordan Davis (“What My World Spins Around”). As a solo artist, he has built a dedicated fanbase with his mix of contemporary country and heartland rock, earning two Grammy nominations—one for Best Country Song for his work on Maren Morris’s “Circles Around This Town” and another for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their duet “Chasing After You.”
Festival Performances and Touring: Hurd has been a consistent presence at major country music festivals, performing at events such as Stagecoach, Tortuga Music Festival, and CMA Fest. In addition to headlining his own tours, he has supported Thomas Rhett, Maren Morris, and Old Dominion on the road.
With his new management team at The Core Entertainment and the highly anticipated release of Midwest Rock & Roll, Hurd continues to solidify his place as one of country music’s most compelling singer-songwriters.
