The CMA Fest by the Country Music Association (CMA) is a cornerstone event in country music, showcasing nearly 300 artists across various sub-genres. We used Booking Agent Info’s music industry directory to research the agencies behind this years line-up (with a bit of rounding for clarity).
WME | William Morris Endeavor leads the pack, representing 27% of the artists. WME’s robust presence in Nashville is evident, managing a slate of major artists including Lainey Wilson, Thomas Rhett, Brothers Osborne, Chris Young, Luke Bryan, and Lee Brice.
Following closely, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) accounts for 22% of the festival’s lineup. Their roster is diverse, featuring Sam Hunt, rising star Shaboozey, Brooke Lee, Cody Johnson, and Gavin DeGraw.
United Talent Agency (UTA) represents 15% of the performers, with artists like Eli Young Band, Craig Morgan, Ben Chapman, and The War and Treaty* under their banner.
Wasserman and The Kinkead Entertainment Agency each command a 5% share. Wasserman’s roster includes Wade Hayes, Old Dominion, and Walker County, while The Kinkead Entertainment Agency brings Canaan Smith, Boomtown Saints, RaeLynn, and others to the festival.
The Neal Agency, also at 5%, manages artists such as HARDY, Bailey Zimmerman, John Morgan, and Riley Green, demonstrating their specialized focus within the country music genre.
Reliant Talent Agency, holding 2% of the representation, works with Little Texas, Sister Hazel, and Tiera Kennedy, showcasing their niche in nurturing seasoned and emerging talents alike.
Action Entertainment Collaborative (AEC) contributes 1% to the festival’s lineup, with artists like Terri Clark, emphasizing their role in the industry.
Additionally, 18% of the lineup comprises a mix of other agencies and artists who manage their bookings in-house, highlighting the diverse and independent spirit prevalent in the country music scene.
It should be noted that we excluded 17 artists from our dataset who we didn’t have data
*as of May 2024, The War and Treaty are now represented by Wasserman.
