Mach-Hommy Signs with Ground Control Touring for Representation

Critically acclaimed rapper and producer Mach-Hommy has signed with Ground Control Touring for representation, further solidifying his presence in the hip-hop world. Known for his enigmatic persona and deeply introspective music, Mach-Hommy has earned a reputation as one of hip-hop’s most intriguing and innovative artists.

Career Highlights: Mach-Hommy first gained widespread attention with his 2016 album H.B.O. (Haitian Body Odor), which he released independently in a limited run, selling physical copies for $300 each. The unconventional approach not only highlighted his commitment to artistic independence but also established him as a cult favorite within the underground hip-hop scene. His work frequently blends English and Haitian Kreyòl, reflecting his Haitian heritage and exploring themes of cultural identity, social justice, and personal struggle.

In 2021, Mach-Hommy released Pray for Haiti, an album executive-produced by Westside Gunn. The project was met with critical acclaim for its lyrical depth and intricate production, and it was made available on major streaming platforms. A portion of the album’s profits was donated to the Pray for Haiti Trust Fund, a charity Mach-Hommy created to support educational initiatives in Haiti, further showcasing his dedication to his roots.

Continuing his prolific output, Mach-Hommy released #RICHAXXHAITIAN in May 2024, featuring collaborations with notable artists such as 03 Greedo and production from Kaytranada. The album further cemented his reputation as a trailblazer in the hip-hop genre, blending poignant storytelling with innovative soundscapes.

By partnering with Ground Control Touring, Mach-Hommy is poised to bring his unique artistry to live audiences around the globe. With his combination of lyrical brilliance, cultural resonance, and mystique, he remains one of hip-hop’s most compelling figures.
