Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley has signed with Independent Artist Group (IAG). He continues to be managed by Markeisha Darden.
Tee Grizzley, born Terry Sanchez Wallace Jr., emerged as a prominent figure in the Detroit hip-hop scene with his debut single, “First Day Out,” in 2016. The track’s raw narrative and authentic portrayal of his life experiences garnered significant attention, propelling him into the national spotlight.
Career Highlights: Following the success of “First Day Out,” Tee Grizzley released his debut mixtape, My Moment, in 2017, which earned him two BET Hip Hop Award nominations for Best New Hip-Hop Artist and Best Mixtape.
In 2018, he delivered his debut studio album, Activated, which showcased his lyrical prowess and storytelling abilities. Continuing his momentum, Tee Grizzley released Still My Moment in 2018 and The Smartest in 2020, further solidifying his place in the hip-hop community.
His third studio album, Built for Whatever, released in 2021, featured collaborations with notable artists such as King Von, Young Dolph, Lil Durk, YNW Melly, Quavo, G Herbo, and Big Sean.
His fifth studio album, Post Traumatic, was released on October 4, 2024, preceded by singles such as “Suffer in Silence” and “Swear to God,” reflecting his growth and resilience.
