Foxy Shazam has signed with Sound Talent Group for representation, aligning with the agency’s growing roster of alternative and rock acts. The signing follows a steady resurgence for the Cincinnati-based band, who reunited in 2020 and released Burn — their first album in six years — marking a return to their glam-rock roots.
Their latest release, Animality Opera (March 2025), is their ninth studio album and has been met with strong streaming traction, earning praise from fans for recapturing the eccentric energy that made them cult favorites in the early 2010s.
Since reuniting, Foxy Shazam has re-established their live presence with performances at Riot Fest (2022), 80/35 Music Festival (2024), and Edgewater Music Fest (2025), connecting with both nostalgic fans and a new generation discovering their catalog through streaming. They currently have over 780,000 monthly Spotify listeners, with top markets in Mexico City, London, Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles — a strong showing for a rock act that’s been largely independent since their comeback.
Pop culture has also played a key role in their revival: director James Gunn has repeatedly championed the band, featuring their songs in the Peacemaker soundtrack and recruiting them to contribute a track for his upcoming Superman reboot. That visibility has driven renewed discovery across DSPs and YouTube, signaling Foxy Shazam’s growing relevance within the modern rock crossover space.
