Asher Angel Signs with Wasserman

Actor and singer Asher Angel has signed with Wasserman for representation, while continuing his public relations partnership with Platform PR. Angel, who first gained recognition for his breakout role as Jonah Beck on Disney Channel’s Andi Mack, has since expanded his career into both film and music, becoming a rising force in the entertainment industry.

Angel made his feature film debut as Billy Batson in the DC Extended Universe film Shazam! in 2019, a role he reprised in Shazam! Fury of the Gods in 2023. Outside of acting, he has pursued a music career, showcasing his versatility as an artist. In January 2025, he released the single “Alternate Ending,” marking a shift toward a country-pop sound. The song explores themes of heartbreak and longing, accompanied by an emotionally driven music video.

Beyond his music, Angel has taken on more film roles, starring as Clay Laughlin in the drama On Fire, which was released in late 2023. He is also set to appear in the upcoming thriller Lazareth and the teen romance 99 Days, both of which are currently in development.
