Christopher Cross has signed with agent WME for representation, transitioning from his previous representation by Asgard Promotions. He continues to be managed by 21st Century Artists, maintaining a steady team as he navigates the next stages of his career.

Career Highlights: Christopher Cross is an iconic singer-songwriter best known for his smooth, melodic hits in the soft rock and adult contemporary genres. He rose to fame in the late 1970s and early 1980s with his self-titled debut album, Christopher Cross, released in 1979. The album was a massive success, earning him five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year for the hit single “Sailing.” This made him the first artist in Grammy history to win all four major awards (Album, Record, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist) in a single night.

Cross continued to find success with his follow-up album Another Page in 1983, which included the hit single “Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do).” This song, written for the movie Arthur starring Dudley Moore, won an Academy Award for Best Original Song. His other well-known tracks include “Ride Like the Wind,” which featured backing vocals by Michael McDonald, and “Think of Laura,” which became popular on the soap opera General Hospital.

Over the years, Christopher Cross has released several more albums, maintaining a dedicated fan base and continuing to tour internationally. While his mainstream popularity peaked in the 1980s, his contributions to the music industry have remained significant, with his work influencing countless artists in the soft rock genre.

Recent Projects: In more recent years, Cross has continued to perform and record music, celebrating the 40th anniversary of his debut album with a commemorative tour. His latest album, Take Me As I Am, was released in 2017, showcasing his enduring talent and ability to craft emotionally resonant music.

With his new representation at WME, Christopher Cross is set to explore new opportunities in his music career, continuing to connect with audiences both old and new through his timeless music.
