Acclaimed actress and author Quvenzhané Wallis has signed with Gersh for representation, while continuing her management under Rebel Creative Group.
Background and Career Highlights: Born on August 28, 2003, in Houma, Louisiana, Wallis made a remarkable debut in the film industry at the age of five. She was cast as Hushpuppy in the critically acclaimed film “Beasts of the Southern Wild” (2012), a role that earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, making her the youngest nominee in the category’s history.
Following her breakout role, Wallis appeared in “12 Years a Slave” (2013) and starred as the titular character in the 2014 adaptation of “Annie”, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical.
